contestFS for Amarok was inspired by the work of amarokFS, and is a script to show the contextbrowser in the fullscreen mode.

Same dependencies as amarokFS.

It can also be run by the amarokFS script. Just change the path to /usr/local/bin/contextFS after install.

Icecast amaroK script is an Icecast/Darkice script for amaroK.

Functions:

- It sends the title of the song being played to an Icecast server.
- It can start your Icecast server and Darkice on amaroK starting
- It allows you to stream what you are listening to in amaroK (in fact everything you are listening to!!!).

Amarok is a wonderful media player and audio library management tool for Linux. Podcast Cleanup allows for extensions by third parties via a nice script system.

Amarok has some in-built support for subscribing to podcasts, however, at time of writing, there is no convenient way to manage deletion of downloaded podcast episodes en-masse.

Presently, the only way to delete downloaded podcast files from amarok is to traverse the podcast list, right clicking on each downloaded podcast episode, and selecting delete from the contect menu. This is quite cumbersome, particularly considering the fact that ever deletion provokes a confirmation dialog.

I listen to a lot of podcasts, and I wanted a better way to manage my downloaded podcast files, so I wrote a small script to delete downloaded podcast files.

The script can delete downloaded podcasts, either unconditionally, or just the listened podcasts, or listend-to podcasts which are older than some age (expressed in hours, days, weeks or months.

Its possible to specify cleanup criteria for startup, and at some regular time interval (after the initial check).

Its possible to request confirmation before deletion is done, and to request a notification when files have been cleaned up.

foosic is a script for amaroK Music Diary. foosic project is an automated music database and a playback statistics tracking system. While you listen to your music, the foosic client submits information about which songs you play. Together with the submissions from other users, we can gather a complete database about currently existing albums, artists, compilations, etc..., as well as information about what is popular and what is not.

You can see your own statistics, and, if you allow it, let your friends see what you are listening to and what you like.

Based on the protocol description I created a ruby script for amaroK so I can update my statistics also from my Linux box.

The script was tested with ruby version 1.8.3 and amaroK 1.3.8. The script depends on Korundum for the config panel.

You can use the amaroK Script manager to install the script.

As Im no expert neither in ruby nor in Qt, if anyone feels corrections should be made to the script, please tell me so or correct the mistake yourself.

I probably wont add new features unless Im *really* bored. Or they are useful *and* easy to implement.

Oh, and Im not related in any way to the original foosic developers.

mugshot-amarok is a script for Amarok to enable support for the Mugshot Music Radar.

Actually, it’s just a small Python script which implements a subset of the DBus interface exported by Rhythmbox. Mugshot can’t tell the difference between this script and Rhythmbox.
