catfish is a handy file search tool using different backends which is configurable via the command line.

This program acts as a frontend for different file search engines. The interface is intentionally lightweight and simple. But it takes configuration options from the command line.

Currently find, (s)locate, tracker and beagle are supported as backends.

Glirnath is a Web utility to browse and play audio files on a remote Unix computer dedicated to be a music jukebox. The Glirnath is not a music streamer to the local computers, but rather acts as a remote agent to play music on the server itself (hook it up to your stereo or something).

Access can be controlled by a special list of IP addresses contained on the server, so its mostly safe, although if you want to let a whole lot of people control the music playing on your stereo, thats up to you.

Thesaurus is a Perl module that maintains lists of associated items.

Thesaurus is a module that allows you to create lists of related things. It was created in order to facilitate searches of a database of Chinese names in Anglicized form. Because there are various schemes to create phonetic representations of Chinese words, the following can all represent the same Chinese character:

Woo
Wu
Ng

Thesaurus can be used for anything that fits into a scalar by using the new method with no parameters and then calling the add method to add data.
Thesaurus also acts as the parent class to several child classes which implement various forms of persistence for the data structure. This module can be used on its own to instantiate an object that lives for the life of its scope.

robots.txt is a script in PHP that acts like a normal robots.txt file, but with a few differences.
When a Spider attempts to access robots.txt, the script will "disallow" access to a list of pre-defined directories. When a normal user attempts to access robots.txt, it will "disallow" access to all directories.
This is a security precuation and an attempt to prevent users from finding "hidden" directories by looking at the robots.txt file.
Enhancements:
- The two serious bugs that meant robots.txt did not function properly were fixed.
- A bug that meant the data printed back would not be parseable by Web crawlers was fixed.
- A new function to clean up data from the files was added.
