Free aazmat monitor 0.1 software for linux

Camera Monitor is a little tray system icon that notifies you when your Webcam is on. The project is designed for the GNOME desktop, but will work as well on KDE and XFCE.
Camera Monitor is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License.
Installation:
tar xzf laptoptemp-0.2.tar.gz

FTP Monitor is a simple panel applet, which monitors incoming connections to ftpd(vsftpd/ncftpd/pure-ftpd/proftpd) and generates passive popups.
For pure-ftpd, ncftpd, proftpd it acts as a frontend to pure-ftpwho, ncftpd_spy and ftpwho respectively. For vsftpd, it looks in output of ps -fe.
Enhancements:
- Update the change in ftp daemon (or path) withour requiring a restart
- Fixed the bug (introduced in 0.70) that FTP status will not update
- For large panels, the icon is now centered

Orange Monitor is a system monitoring theme for SuperKaramba.

KHDAPSMonitor project is a system tray monitor for laptops with the Hard Drive Active Proctection System.

This is my first KDE application, and also fills my need of a KDE HDAPS monitor. Written as the existing one here (khdapsmon) has several outstanding issues and is being re-written in python. I dont like python here is khdapsmonitor in C++, and its here to stay.

Gentoo users simply need to emerge khdapsmonitor as I also maintain it in the Gentoo Portage tree.

IFMonitor is a simple network interface monitor for KDE. With IFMontor you can see how you are using your network bandwidth. It depends by QWT library, by Uwe Rathmann and Josef Wilgen

Aranha is an application that uses an XML-RPC layer to retrieve information from one or more servers. The type of information gathered is implemented via plugins, and can be displayed or archived in several different ways.

The data is gathered in Round Robin Databases (integrated with rrdtool) and can be accessed using a XUL interface available from the system. Plugins are very easy to write.

Configuration

To configure this module, either pass specific configuration values to
Makefile.PL like this:

perl Makefile.PL CONFIG_VAR="config val"
or
edit the %DEFAULTS variable on the toplevel Makefile.PL

Installation

To install this module type the following:

perl Makefile.PL
make
make test
make install

Simple Monitor is a SuperKaramba theme inspired by the simple but effective "Very Simple Monitors" theme by the user humanthing. Some values are not displayed properly though in Very Simple Monitors (network values and IP). This could be because of different setups. My computer is pretty standard so my theme should function properly on most pcs. http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=48973
I like a tight and clean desktop, so I simplified the idea even more. This theme is showing all basic information, and nothing more.

- Processor load (number and graph, for one proc)

- amount of swap used / amount of swap
- amound of HDD space used / amount of HDD space total (for "/root" and "/home")
- HDD temperatue (for "/hda", I could add another drive if requested)

- Network load (up- and download, values and graph)
- Amount of transfered data thrue internet (up- and download) since last boot
Enhancements:
- Made the three blocks clickable.
- The CPU block opens Processor information
- The Memory block opens KsysGuard (youll need to have it installed to be able open it, obviously. Its in Kubuntu by default)
- the Network block opens your computers ip settings window
- Added a line for your computers uptime
- Changed font colors to very dark gray and very light gray, instead of black and white, to make it look softer.
