QFE is full-featured FTN message editor with a graphical interface. QFE is written on C++/Qt and does not depend on either KDE or Gnome.
All operations with FIDO message base use fidoconfig and smapi packages from HUSKY project.
I write qfe for Linux, but it works on Win32, and in theory, it should compile & work on all Qt-supported platforms.
Enhancements:
- Fix update squish base UID when write new message.
- Fix write new message & delete message in Jam-areas.
- Fix UU & Base64 decoder for work with badly-encoded parts.

Poe is a vorbis comment editor. It tries to follow the vorbis comment header specification closely, while being convenient and flexible to use.
Towards that end, it doesnt have a static form style interface. Instead, it has an editable table of comments.
The contents of the table change dependent upon preference settings, and what comments are in the ogg file you are editing.

XAR stands for eXtensible ARchiver. more>>
XAR application aims to provide an easily extensible archive format.
Important design decisions include an easily extensible XML table of contents for random access to archived files, storing the toc at the beginning of the archive to allow for efficient handling of streamed archives, the ability to handle files of arbitrarily large sizes, the ability to choose independent encodings for individual files in the archive, the ability to store checksums for individual files in both compressed and uncompressed form, and the ability to query the table of contents rich meta-data.
The ultimate goal of the XAR project is to provide an archive format suitable for packaging software created by DarwinPorts. (Note it is a work in progress, so please feel free to make suggestions and report bugs in the xar Bugzilla product.)

GAINT is a plugin for Gaim that enables file sharing capabilities similar to mIRCs fserve. If your ISP is as obnoxious as ours and refusing to open/forward a couple of ports for FTP/SSH so that you can transfer/recevive files from your work, then you need GAINT. If many ISPs block incoming P2P and other connections, however of them allow IM file transfer. You can take advantage of this situation (for now) and use Gaim with GAINT plugin to partially emulate FTP/Telnet.
1. Download Gaim source if you havent already done so.
2. Place the file gaint.c and other *.c and *.h files (if any) in the plugins sub-directory
3. Type `make gaint.so and `make gaint.lo in the plugins sub-directory
4. Copy the resulting two files (gaint.so and gaint.lo) to the Gaim plugins directory (usually `/usr/lib/gaim or `/usr/local/lib/gaim).
5. Restart Gaim and go to Preferences dialog.

XPde is a complete desktop environment for Linux on x86. It tries to make easier for Windows XP users to use a Linux box.
Nothing more, no clipboard compatibility between Gtk and Qt applications, no emulation of Windows applications, no unification on the widgets of X applications, just a desktop environment.
Enhancements:
- The desktop now fully uses PNG+Alpha channel, so you can use the icons of your choice anywhere
- The icon theme has been updated to the latest crystal svg, but not all icons are included, just the needed ones
- The used font now is Bitstream vera, which looks very similar to tahoma
- Now, Im using QTheme from Andreas Hausladen: http://mitglied.lycos.de/AndreasHausladen/Delphi/Kylix/CLXPatches/unitcomp.html#QThemed
- Still some work to do on this field.

- The taskbar is also completely new, is built using bitmaps, as you can see in the shot and can be themed very easily
