MPEG4IP provides an end-to-end system to explore streaming multimedia. MPEG4IP package includes many existing open source packages and the "glue" to integrate them together. This is a tool for streaming video and audio that is standards-oriented and free from proprietary protocols and extensions.
Provided are a live MPEG-4/H.261/MPEG-2/H.263 MP3/AAC/AMR broadcaster and file recorder, command line utilities such as an MP4 file creator and hinter, and an player that can both stream and playback from local file.
Our development is focused on the Linux platform, and has been ported to Windows, Solaris, FreeBSD, BSD/OS and Mac OS X, but it should be relatively straight-forward to use on other platforms. Many of the included packages are multi-platform already. Mp4live only works on Linux.

NuSphere PhpED is intended mostly for building database-driven web-applications using php scripting language, although a lot of other popular languages such as HTML, XML, CSS, Perl, Javascript, Python are supported.

PhpED is a robust code editor, powerful php debugger, profiler and publisher – all-in-one. It also includes integrated database and CVS clients, SOAP services, HTML validator and Code Formatter tools, Terminal support and much more.

Gutenprint project, formerly named Gimp-Print, is a suite of printer drivers that may be used with most common UNIX print spooling systems,
including CUPS, lpr, LPRng, or others. These drivers provide high quality printing for UNIX (including Macintosh OS X 10.2, 10.3, and
10.4) and Linux systems that in many cases equal or exceed proprietary vendor-supplied drivers in quality and functionality, and can be used for demanding printing tasks requiring flexibility and high quality. This software package includes an enhanced Print plug-in for the GIMP that replaces the plug-in packaged with the GIMP, and Ghostscript and CUPS drivers, as well as Foomatic data supporting the Ghostscript driver.
Gutenprint has been renamed in order to clearly distinguish it from the GIMP. While this package started out as the original Print plugin for the GIMP, it has expanded into a collection of general purpose printer drivers, and the new, enhanced Print plugin for the GIMP is now only a small part of the package. Furthermore, the name Gutenprint recognizes Johannes Gutenberg, the inventor of the movable type printing press. Finally, the word "guten" means "good" in German.
Gutenprint 5.0.0 is the first stable release of Gutenprint 5.0, and incorporates extensive feedback from the first release candidate. It
is based on the Gimp-Print 4.3 series that has been in development for over three years, and includes many improvements over the very popular 4.2 series.
Gutenprint currently supports over 700 printer models.

OpenLink Virtuoso is a Virtual Database product that provides transparent real-time access to disparate data sources (ODBC, JDBC, XML, and Web Services), and transparent integration of disparate application logic (e.g. Mono ECMA-CLI and J2EE integration). OpenLink Virtuoso Universal Servers broad protocol support enables it to offer Web, File, and SQL database server functionality alongside native XML storage, and Web services platform functionality as part of a cohesive single server solution.
Virtuoso is at the core a high performance object-relational SQL database. As a database, it provides transactions, a smart SQL compiler, powerful stored procedure language with optional Java and .Net server side hosting, hot backup, SQL 99 and more. It has all major data access interfaces, as in ODBC, JDBC, ADO .Net and OLE/DB.
Virtuoso has a built-in web server which can serve dynamic web pages written in Virtuosos web page language as well as PHP, ASP .net and others. This same web server provides SOAP and REST access to Virtuoso stored procedures, supporting a broad set of WS protocols such as WS-Security, WS-Reliable Messaging and others. A BPEL4WS run time is also available as part of Virtuosos SOA suite.
Virtuoso has a built-in WebDAV? repository. This can host static and dynamic web content and optionally provides versioning. The WebDAV? repository is tested to interoperate with WebDAV? clients built into Windows XP, Mac OSX and others and makes Virtuoso a convenient and secure place for keeping ones files on the net.
