Qt is a toolkit for software developers. Qt project simplifies the task of writing and maintaining GUI (graphical user interface) applications. It is written in C++ and is fully object-oriented.
It is a multi-platform toolkit. When you implement a program with Qt, you can run it on the X Window System (Unix/X11), Apple Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows NT/9x/2000/XP by simply compiling the source code for the platform you want.

Dada Mail 3.0.4 / 3.1 Alpha 1 is created to be a general purpose mailing list manager which is useful for small to medium organizations such as businesses, non-profit organizations and personal sites. A Mailing List Manager is a program that handles the subscriptions of a mailing list and in this case also sends out mailing list messages - emails that are received by everyone that is subscribed to the mailing list.
The goal in this perspective of Dada Mail is to be able to be easily installed and useful by a web-savvy person. This person does not have to be a professional web designer/developer. It is also hoped that there is much breathing room for the program to grow with the needs and expectations of whatever organization it is to be used for.
Dada Mail is also a many-tiered art project. The initial goal was to see how far a self-taught, admittedly poor math student could take a computer program, written from scratch. The answer it seems, is very very far. The idea being played with is of a person taking on a role that doesn't seem to fit them well and flourishing. This wasn't acting, this was real life. Four Years is a Long Time.
Dada Mail is also used to question the idea on what a piece of software is and what it isn't, making definitions such as "name", "function", "purpose", slippery. The creator of Dada Mail, Justin Simoni, has many more credentials as an Artist, attending the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design as a senior in their Drawing and Painting program, than he does as a Software Engineer, of which credentials he has none, except the time he has spent with projects, like Dada Mail.
Major Features :
- Dada Mail is a Web-Based System. You don't need to remember cryptic commands to send to a special address just to have the program e-mail you back telling you youre wrong. You administrate your lists using a control panel you view through your web browser like Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.
- Dada Mail Supports an Unlimited Number of Mailing Lists. Dada Mail was made from the start to be expandable. Each list can be managed separately with a different password for protection. Setting up a list can take as little as a minute to make! All list information can be changed at any time.

Shatranj is an bitboard-based, Open-Source, interactive chess programming module which allows manipulation of chess positions and experimentation with search algorithms and evaluation techniques. Shatranjs goal is to write a toolkit to aid in implementing Shannon Type B chess programs.
As such, execution speed becomes less important then code clarity and expressive power of the implementation language. Having been written in an interpreted language, this module allows the chess programmer to manipulate bitboards in a natural, interactive manner much like signal processing toolkits allow communication engineers to manipulate vectors of sounds samples in MATLAB.
The module currenly implements a simple recursive minimax search with alphabeta pruning, iterative deepening, uses short algebraic notation, handles repetition check, and the 50 move rule. Features lacking are quiescent checks, transition tables, negascout and MTD searching.
The chess programming toolkit is available in the form of a Python module called shatranj.py. You will also likely need the opening book as well as some of the pre-built hash tables that are used throughout the module (these will be recalculated if the module cannot find the data file).
Place all three file in the same directory and simply run python on the python module ("python shatranj.py"). As far as requirements, all that is needed is a recent version of the interpreted, high level language called Python (anything after version 2.3 should work fine). If you would like a little bit of a speed boost, shatranj looks for the module Psyco and will use it if it is installed.

Featherweight Linux is my Live-CD installable Linux distribution that I remastered from Feather Linux, which is built on knoppix technology. Youll find some great people over at Feather and you can find some good documentation there.
Their goal is to make a light and fast Linux with a very small footprint that can be installed on USB pen drives and such. My goal is a bit different. I want a full featured Linux that isnt bloated with a kazillion gigs of crap that Ill never use. I want a small footprint that is light and fast, even on older machines, but still carries a knockout punch.
So I took Feather and stripped out a bunch of apps that I never even thought of using. I wanted to make an easy to understand desktop that was compatible and easily configurable with the latest apps being developed, so I removed all of the window managers and installed a minimal KDE 3.3 desktop.
I included the most popular internet apps like the Mozilla Suite complete with plugins, Gaim, Gftp etc... I added full printer support and wifi support. In my test environment, it automatically detects and configures both my network printer (HP PSC 1210)and my linksys wireless card. Hopefully, itll do the same for you. It is debian based so I installed Synaptic for easy upgrading and totally FREE software management. Customizing your own system with the software that you want is only a few clicks away.
In its current state, the ISO is about 240mb and the HDD install is about 700mb, which is about 1/4 of all the other overweight distros out there. Once you install it, you can install OpenOffice and a bunch of other stuff if you need it, but I just wanted to make a good solid functional base so you can build your own system if you want.
Featherweight is intended for novice users with "some" linux experience, intermediate users, and experienced linux users alike. It has a pretty straight forward install but you should know linux and HDD partitioning basics before trying to install it.

Enhancements:
- Ive upgraded e2fsprogs and e2fslibs as well as some other critical core files.
- I updated the apt sources and added abiword and acroread, as well as the acroread mozilla plugin, and I added kppp.
- I upgraded samba and switched the quick start konqueror and kde help buttons with a mozilla button and a konsole button.
- I fixed the install script where some folks were getting a blank screen after installation and added a grub install script for easy installation of grub after the initial install.
- The total installed size is now about 800mb.

I want a full featured Linux that isnt bloated with a kazillion gigs of crap that Ill never use. I want a small footprint that is light and fast, even on older machines, but still carries a knockout punch.
So I took Feather and stripped out a bunch of apps that I never even thought of using. I wanted to make an easy to understand desktop that was compatible and easily configurable with the latest apps being developed, so I removed all of the window managers and installed a minimal KDE 3.3 desktop.
I included the most popular internet apps like the Mozilla Suite complete with plugins, Gaim, Gftp etc... I added full printer support and wifi support. In my test environment, it automatically detects and configures both my network printer (HP PSC 1210)and my linksys wireless card. Hopefully, itll do the same for you. It is debian based so I installed Synaptic for easy upgrading and totally FREE software management. Customizing your own system with the software that you want is only a few clicks away.
In its current state, the ISO is about 240mb and the HDD install is about 700mb, which is about 1/4 of all the other overweight distros out there. Once you install it, you can install OpenOffice and a bunch of other stuff if you need it, but I just wanted to make a good solid functional base so you can build your own system if you want.
Featherweight is intended for novice users with "some" linux experience, intermediate users, and experienced linux users alike. It has a pretty straight forward install but you should know linux and HDD partitioning basics before trying to install it.

Enhancements:
- Ive upgraded e2fsprogs and e2fslibs as well as some other critical core files.
- I updated the apt sources and added abiword and acroread, as well as the acroread mozilla plugin, and I added kppp.
- I upgraded samba and switched the quick start konqueror and kde help buttons with a mozilla button and a konsole button.
- I fixed the install script where some folks were getting a blank screen after installation and added a grub install script for easy installation of grub after the initial install.
- The total installed size is now about 800mb.

After creating an Algorithm::Pair::Best->new object, add a list of items (players) to be paired. add connects the new items into a linked list. The linked list must consist of an even number of items or youll get an error when you try to pick the pairs.
Pairings are determined partially by the original order items were added, but more importantly, items are paired based on scores which are determined by an info hash used to attach any random data to the item, and user supplied functions to provide a score for each item in relation to other items. It may be convenient to add access methods to the Algorithm::Pair::Best package from the main namespace (see the scoreSubs option to new below for an example).
Algorithm::Pair::Best->pick explores all combinations of items and returns the pairing with the best (highest) score. This can be an expensive proposition - the number of combinations goes up very fast with respect to the number of items:

It is clearly unreasonable to try to pair a significant number of items. On my system it takes about 2 seconds to pair 12 items (6 pairs), and 20 seconds to pair 14 items (with no negative scores only optimization). Trying to completely pair even 30 items would take too long.
Fortunately, there is a way to get pretty good results for large numbers, even if theyre not perfect. Instead of trying to pair the whole list at once, Algorithm::Pair::Best->pick pairs a series of smaller groups to get good local results. The new method accepts a window option to limit the number of pairs in each window. The window option can also be overridden by calling pick with an explicit window argument:

Hard Token Management Framework is used to manage the complete livecycle of an organizations Smartcard and/or USB dongles.
It communicates with the tokens through a PKCS11 interface so it is possible to change hardware as long as they supply it with a good implementation of PKCS11.
It comes along quite with a few ready made modules that can be composed to fit the need of the organization. The Hard Token Management Framework is an Add-on to EJBCA Certificate Authority (see http://www.ejbca.org).
Main features:
- Support of Setec 4.3.1 and 4.4.1 cards (TODO check)
- Issuing cards with 1 or more certificates
- Support for 2 PIN, basic and signature
- Contains a Card Analyser that analyses the card for the card administrator to give a suggestion of what is wrong with the card
- Possibilty to issue ordinary, temporary and project cards with different validities
- When a ordinary or project card is generated is all previous cards revoked
- When a temporary card is issued is the ordinary card set on hold until the ordinary card is reactivated
- Userdata is fetched from existing user data source.
- Possibility to unlock cards without exposing the PUK. The PUK is stored encrypted in EJBCA database.
- Easy to renew an expiring card
- Cards not used anymore can be revoked and ereased.
- It is also possible for a card administrator to do some management remotely (without having the card) such as revoking and activating a ordinary card.
- For 24/7 working environments where a card administrator might not be available it is possible for a colleague to issue a card unlock or issue temporary card request that is sent to a central support unit for approval
- TaLiMa also have error reporting functionality where unexpected error can be sent to the technical administrators for analysis
