With Zhu3D you interactively can view and animate functions, isosurfaces and a further independent parametric system. Numerical solutions of an equation system can be found with a precise and reliable adaptive random search. The OpenGL-viewer supports zooming, scaling, rotating and translating as well as filed lightning or surface properties. Special effects are transparency, textures, fog and motion blur.
You have up to eight independent lights or spotlights, background settings, miscellaneous wire-modes or global illumination models. Pictures are rendered as PNG, JPG, PDF or PostScript and can be of arbitrary size. For textures Zhu3D recognizes nine common formats. Isosurfaces you can be visualized with different volume-based algorithms.
Zhu3D runs under Linux/Unix, Windows 98-XP and Mac OS X and is localized for English, German and Spanish. It supports different CPUs as well as different APIs like KDE, Motiv, Gnome or Windows. All settings can be changed dynamically at runtime. The application comes with extended help-files and a lot of examples.
COMPILING:
All you need is Qt 4.1 or later and support for OpenGL 1.2, what can be a software implementation like Mesa. The qmake easily can be taylored for special needs, what supports packagers.
HARDWARE:
For basic viewings even an old and slow PC without hardware accelerated OpenGL is sufficient. However, enabling goddies like animation, big textures and especially motion blur is a challenge for every GPU out there. On the other hand isosurfaces with dense meshes need a lot of CPU-power.
VERSIONS:
Whatever ends with an odd number, is considered as "pre". Those versions are not intended to be unfinished or buggy, but my testing capabilities are limited to my own HW/SW-configurations. So especially packagers may wait for an even number. This happens after a significant amount of downloads and no major problems reported. A complete Windows version is available - special thanks to Victor Fernandez, who is hosting this!

MVCnPHP stands for Model-View-Controller in PHP. MVCnPHP is an implementation of the MVC design pattern for use in PHP applications.
Geared for large-scale, enterprise-level PHP applications, it helps make your large PHP application easier to maintain and your logic more atomic, making it ideal for reuse.
It also features support for Propel, an object-relational mapping tool that can map MVC models to corresponding structures in your database. To get you started, a couple of example applications are part of the package.
Enhancements:
- This is primarily a performance upgrade to support APC.
- require_once has be replaced with require, as that is what APC perfers.
- It also wants absolute paths, so that was added, which will mean users will need to adjust the path in the code or be define the global variable referenced in the code.
- This will work without APC as long as you define the functions apc_store and apc_fetch, which both do a "return ".
- Some factoring was done to get rid of the factory classes, as nobody but the Controller used them.
- Array configuration of the controller is no longer supported.

floppyfw project is a router with the advanced firewall-capabilities in Linux that fits on one single floppy disc.
Main features:
- Access lists, IP-masquerading (Network Address Translation), connection tracked packet filtering and (quite) advanced routing. Package for traffic shaping is also available.
- Requires only a 386sx or better with two network interface cards, a 1.44MB floppy drive and 12MByte of RAM ( for less than 12M and no FPU, use the 1.0 series, which will stay maintained. )
- Very simple packaging system. Is used for editors, PPP, VPN, traffic shaping and whatever comes up. (now this is looking even more like LRP (may it rest in peace) but floppyfw is not a fork.)
- Logging through klogd/syslogd, both local and remote.
- Serial support for console over serial port.
- DHCP server and DNS cache for internal networks.
It will get more features, but only if it is possible to cram it into the one, single diskette. More than one floppy is bloatware.

- This release is uClibc based, and you can build it in a development environment yourself if you like.

This program enables you to draw sky charts, making use of the data in 16 catalogs of stars and nebulae. In addition the position of planets, asteroids and comets are shown.
The purpose of this program is to prepare different sky maps for a particular observation.
A large number of parameters help you to choose specifically or automatically which catalogs to use, the colour and the dimension of stars and nebulae, the representation of planets, the display of labels and coordinate grids, the superposition of pictures, the condition of visibility and more. All these features make this celestial atlas more complete than a conventional
planetarium.
Enhancements:
- The default database is now SQLite to simplify the installation process.
- MySQL is still available if need.
- Add the Calendar menu with more functions for the comets and asteroids.

gitty-gitty is a package that contains template generation tools, are a set of scripts for creating a whole set of sources which may already be compiled and installed using the GNU development tools.
Think of gtgt as a program which is able to create an already compilable, very sophisticated "hello world" program, written in C or C++ and constituted by a main program, two internal modules (classes), and one static and one shared library, and this complex "Hello World" is already fully embedded into the GNU autoconf/automake development environment.
By using gitty-gitty, you will get a template of sources for the main cases you might meet, and which you can also use as examples for automake, autoconf, etc.
Enhancements:
- gtgt was retested under Ubuntu Dapper Drake (6.06).
- automake was updated to 1.9, autoconf was updated to 2.13.56, and autogen was updated to 1.5.8.1-1.
- prepare-cvs-commit was renamed to prepClearRepCommit.sh.
- Generated .cvsignore-files are automatically imported into the subversion property-list using the command "svn propset svn:ignore -F .cvsignore .".
- This command will be executed in all directories if it has already been set under subversion control (i.e. the .svn-directory exists).
