Free 2d car software for linux

Toy Cars is a physics-based 2D racing game for Linux. The graphics and the interface use SDL and OpenGL.

Toy Cars is partly inspired by Micromachines and partly by the old Atari ST game called Jupiters Masterdrive.

Zelda2D is a Zelda related JumpnRun game in 2D.

This is a Zelda related fangame. A classic JumpnRun style game featuring Link from Zelda collecting rubins and defending evil opponents.

The game itself is a game-engine reading levels from XML-files. Its very easy to write own levels and to design objects in the game.

CarWorld is a small driving simulator/demo I use to test various things of interest. It was mostly developed when I was a student. Car World is released with the full source code under the GNU General Public License.

The rendering

The two top pictures represent an slightly older version (v0.072) but graphically similar of CarWorld as it was presented for my project. v0.072 includes an OpenGL based renderer allowing
file input and displaying of texture mapped models with interpolated surface normals, real time projected shadows (as seen in the dino lights example).

The mechanics

based on classical mechanics
uses standard metrics (Newtons, meters, seconds...)
there are no constraints on the environment surface
variable length time increments and variable increment number means "CarWorld time" is not dependent on frame rate.
adjustable simulation specs include: metrics, mass, moment of inertia around rotation axis, suspension pre load, compression damping, rebound damping, engine torque output, air friction, surface friction.

The goal is to clear all levels of bad guys and make the World a better place.

EQdkp project is a Web-based DKP solution.

EQdkp is a PHP-based DKP solution to help guilds in EverQuest track guild members attendance, item purchases and other statistics.

It features templating, plugin support, and supports various database abstraction layers, amongst many other features.

Many EverQuest guilds wanted to use the point system but didnt have the means or time or will to create their own program for managing it. The main focus of EQdkp is to make loot distribution decisions as easy as possible for guild leaders while still allowing the system to be easy to maintain.

EQdkp was originally created with the notion that one closed-source installation of it would support many guilds point systems. It was later released as an Open Source project so that it would be much more customizable by each guild.

DKP, short for Dragon Kill Points, is a concept originally created by Thott of Afterlife. These points are awarded to each guild member as they attend a guild raid. The current DKP of each member reflects his or her priority for loot. When a member "wins" an item, they lose a DKP amount that reflects the value of that item.

DKP allows for an unbiased comparison between guild members when decisions about loot are to be made based on attendance and recent items that have been awarded.

LibAran is a 2D/3D Fast Multipole Method software library.
Main features:
- 2D FMM algorithms through Laurent Series.
- 3D FMM algorithms through complex spherical harmonics series. These series can handle Newton/Coulomb potentials. Sparse translationoperators (O(p^3) complexity) are included.
- Dynamic QTree/OcTree LibVsg (VsgPRTree2d and VsgPRTree3d) particles filtering.
