Free 2007 compatibility pack software for linux

Archie project is a complete live Arch linux system (v0.7) to be run from a cd/usb, built with the KISS philosophy in mind. No packages have been stripped to provide a full Arch linux system, yet deliver fastest performance with no extensive bloating.
Archie uses its own hw-detection tool (lshwd) ideally to support a wide range of hardware with low detection time. Archie also provides extended features like multi-lingual, nesting capabilities and hd-install.

OpenWindows Augmented Compatibility Environment (OWacomp) makes it possible to use the older OpenWindows Deskset environment on Solaris 9 and 10. OpenWindows Augmented Compatibility Environment is also useful for people that need to compile XView, OLIT, or DevGuide applications.
If you are using Solaris 9 or Solaris 10 and you are missing the older OpenWindows Deskset environment, then these packages are for you! If you need to compile XView/OLIT/DevGuide applications on either Solaris 9 or Solaris 10 then these packages may be of some help as well.
Supported Systems:
- Solaris 9 for Sparc and i86pc.
- Solaris 10 for Sparc and i86pc.
What is included:
OWacomp is mostly a re-packaged version of:
- Solaris 8 OpenWindows SUNWol binary packages and patches.
- Extra XView tools used by the author over the years and that others might be interested in. (olvwm, dumptool, disktool, rootmenu, etc..). Suggestions are welcomed if youd like to see this list expanded.
What is not included:
- The source code to the original OpenWindows binaries is (c) SUN Microsystems Inc. and is not available. Please note that the author never had access to that source code and as such the rebuilt packages are only what they are: rebuilds of packages consisting of packaged binaries built by SUN Microsystems Inc.
- The source code to some of these applications (dumptool, rootmenu) is under NDA with the author and will not be provided.
- The source code to the other applications (xvset, olvwm, pantool, disktool, etc...) is available in the SUNWolsrc package. (Release 1.0b3)
Enhancements:
- This release adds /usr/openwin/lib/checkOW for sparc and i386.
- It adds the Makefile.gcc missing from the olvwm 4.5 source.
- It rebuilds olvwm under Solaris 9/SPARC instead of Solaris 10/SPARC (libm.so.2 vs. libm.so.1 mismatch).
- This fix isnt complete for Solaris 9/i386 yet (olvwm is fine, but other binaries arent).

SAM Linux Desktop is a live and installation CD based on Mandriva Linux, is an easy-to-use, fast and clean XFce Linux desktop for home users.
SAM Linux Desktop is enhanced by several popular non-free applications, such Macromedia Flash plugin, Java and RealPlayer.
Enhancements:
- SAM 2007.1-test1 is available for testing. The most important changes: OpenOffice.org was dropped, here is the reason: SAM now comes with basic support for more than 50 languages, proprietary ATI and NVIDIA drivers have been added to the live CD with a nice GUI to install them, under the hood it is running a development version of kernel 2.6.20.11. All packages have been updated to their newest versions available in the PCLinuxOS repositories, some new ones have been added (PDFedit, Planner, Searchmonkey, Ntfs-config, VirtualBox...) and a fresh theme was created.

Mailgraph software is a very simple mail statistics RRDtool frontend for Postfix and Sendmail that produces daily, weekly, monthly and yearly graphs of received/sent and bounced/rejected mail.

Gnome Memory Blocks project is a concentration game for GNOME.

This is GNOMEs version of the `memory blocks game originaly come from Semantec game pack for Win-3.11

QUAKE 4 Quakemas Map Pack is a bonus collection for Christmas with maps for Quake 4.

This Map Pack is compatible with QUAKE 4 1.0, and updates 1.0.4.0 and 1.0.5.0.

This Map Pack consists of the file pak013.pk4 and contains the following multiplayer maps:

Campgrounds Redux (q4dm9):

With QUAKE 4s updated technology, Campgrounds Redux now has a fresh look and feel, revitalizing this QUAKE III(tm) classic. Enemies attack from above and below in the enormous, multi-tiered environment, making team-play invaluable. Tremors is perfect for huge Capture-The-Flag games, and also supports the Arena Capture-The-Flag gameplay mode.

To use the new maps in the map rotation cycle, a new map cycle script file has been included with the Map Pack, called mapcycle-mp1.scriptcfg.

To use the new map cycle script:

1. On the Multiplayer- Create Server screen, click "Advanced Options"
2. In the "Map cycle script file" field, enter mapcycle-mp1.scriptcfg
3. Click "Close advanced options"
4. Start the server

Alternately, this can be set with the console command:

g_mapCycle mapcycle-mp1.scriptcfg

To uninstall, simply delete the pak013.pk4 file from your QUAKE 4q4base directory.

Autoconf Macro Archive aims to provide a collection of reusable Autoconf macros as free software.

The archive currently features more than 300 macros which perform portability tests ranging from compiler support for weird language extensions to automatic generation of sophisticated Automake rules.

However, all these macros have been contributed by friendly supporters of the cause from all over the Internet; the archive really just collects and distributes them.
