Naja is a download manager (accelerated downloading), and a website grabber. You can add some plugins (newsreader, newsgroup grabber, FTP - FTPS - SFTP client, WebDAV client) and take control of your downloads from your office.
You may automatically resume broken downloads if your connection is interrupted for any reason and you may always resume downloading from the point were you stopped.
The downloading maybe achieved by splitting the file being downloaded into several parts and downloading these parts at the same time (HTTP, HTTPS & FTP). Donwload speeds are increased by downloading the file from the mirror sites, when the sites propose it.
Support for decoding multipart encoded image on several news is now ready (UUE, yEnc). Proxies are also supported (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SOCKS v4a, SOCKS v5), and use some authentication methods.

Lavengro is a cross-platform, console-based vocabulary-test engine. The project uses text files as its tests.
The tests themselves are created by you. It has a tutor mode, a test mode, and a CBT learning mode. There is also a bsd-quiz mode for nostalgias sake.

Simple DirectMedia Layer is a cross-platform multimedia library designed to provide low level access to audio, keyboard, mouse, joystick, 3D hardware via OpenGL, and 2D video framebuffer. It is used by MPEG playback software, emulators, and many popular games, including the award winning Linux port of "Civilization: Call To Power."

WaveGain is a program that applies ReplayGain to wave files. WaveGain is an application of the ReplayGain algorithms to standard PCM wave files. Where it differs from the other applications of this principle is that the gain adjustments are applied directly to adjusting the scaling of the samples.
In other words, the option to write tags that can be read by other applications to apply the gain adjustment does not exist, so the adjustments are made directly to the data within the file.
Therefore, in the strictest meaning of the word, this process is NOT lossless. However, with the application of dithering to the output, the losses can be minimized and are, in any event, unlikely to be audible to the human ear.
So in simple terms, the program reads in wave files, analyses them, calculates and displays recommended gain adjustments (track and album), and then applies the adjustments directly to the wave data, if requested.

Whats New in 1.2.6 Stable Release:
- With 1.2.4, all header data was copied through to the processed file including bext and cart chunks. As of this version, all trailers are now also copied through regardless of content. This ensures that any chunks appearing after the data chunk are not lost as a result of wavegaining the file. These changes have been implemented primarily to meet the needs of the broadcasting industry but will have no impact when processing regular wave files that contain the minimum chunk requirements.
Whats New in 1.2.7 Beta 3 Development Release:
- This release adds three new options: one to write a gain chunk, another to undo the gain processing, and a third to force reprocessing of a file that already contains a gain chunk.

The Public IP ZoneCD is whats known as a LiveCD. It does not install to your hard drive. It runs right from your CD-ROM. The ZoneCD is a re-master of Morphix CD which in turn is a modified version of KNOPPIX CD.
The ZoneCD is a bootable CD with a collection of GNU/Linux software pre-configured to create a WiFi gateway. ZoneCD is a mini operating system with automatic hardware detection, and support for many graphics cards, sound cards and other peripherals.

Knoppix provides much of the auto configuration software used during bootup. Morphix provides the lightweight modular platform for me to add the components and software required to create an automatic WiFi gateway.
The ideal of Open Source is what makes the building and distribution the ZoneCD possible. The sharing of code so that the next developer can pickup and take the software in a new direction is what makes open source work. Its what makes the ZoneCD work.
The ZoneCD works by adding a piece of hardware between your AP (wireless access point or router) and your network or Internet connection. The piece of hardware used for the ZoneCD can be any PC with a minumum of 128MB RAM, two etherent cards, a floppy drive, and a CD-ROM (see system requirements). Once the initial setup and configuration is complete, the system can be run headless. Headless meaning there is no need for keeping a keyboard, mouse, or monitor hooked-up. The CD will boot completely unattended after setup is complete.

Nicotine-Plus is a fork of Nicotine, the Python/GTK+ 2 client for the Soulseek P2P Network. Nicotine-Pluss features include remote uploads, separate shares sent to Buddies, GUI improvements, and a tray icon.
