HartMath is an experimental computer algebra program written in Java.

It features big number arithmetic, symbolic and numeric evaluation, plot-, polynomial-, vector, and matrix-functions.

Majic is the interpreter for a language called Erc. It is written in Java and follows the documented standard for the Erc language. First, a word about Erc: Erc is a link-oriented language. In fact, it is the first link-oriented language. It uses a novel syntax with roots in TCL, Scheme, Bash, and natural languages, among others.

Link orientation is a programming paradigm similar to a cross between link-orientation and object-orientation, with a little hypertext markup thrown in for good measure. In it, although it contains list-like structures which behave like objects, the focus is in fact the links between concepts (structures and elements), as opposed to list organization/processing or object creation.

This makes link-oriented languages such as Erc good for AI or other applications which require keeping track of links between concepts, such as expert systems, semantic searching, and neural nets.

Erc is pronounced URk, with a short U. Majic is pronounced MAH-jik. Both names are derived from the book Web of Angels by John M Ford, in which the Erc was the ethreal currency used in the book universe, and Majic was slang for multiple Erc.

Majic stands for Majic Ate Java Inline Classes, or My Awesome Java Interpreter Code. Erc stands for Enumerate Relative Constants, or Ercs Really Cool. Choose an interpretation, either I sound overconfident (read: like an arrogant jerk), obtrusely technical, or like a hacker with a bad sense of humor. All of that is true, just to clear stuff up.

dfsch is small embeddable Scheme interpreter library written in C. Some features from a complete Scheme implementation are omitted, since these features arent very useful in a scripting language and would make the library more complicated.

Due to embeddability and my lazyness, it is far from complete scheme implementation, but it doesnt hurt too much in practise.

Included are two examples of usage from C code (two different implementations of REP loop) and one toy scheme program (morse code decoder, which somehow leaked into source tree and remained there.

For now, there is very little documentation, but examples should be straight forward. Next release (0.2.0) was near to be finished but I have decided to include some nontrivial extensions (most notably bignums) so it would take some time. But feel free to ask for snapshot of development work.

LibKSD project is a cross-plaform (C++) game framework.
It is built on top of SDL and also uses libSigC++ for its signal system.
It provides drawing functions, a simple widget set, multi-threading, plug-ins, collision detection, joysticks, image loading/saving, simple audio playing/loading/saving, true-type fonts, and some other stuff too.
Main features:
- A simple customizable widget set, including: labels, buttons, combo boxes, text editing fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, message boxes, and scroll bars.
- Fast drawing functions for simple shapes such as: rectangles, circles, ellipses and lines.
- Support painting of both bitmaped and true type fonts.

Felidae ist a collection of modules for Fvwm, written in Perl. Currently it contains:

FvwmStorage
FvwmStorage is a fvwm module written in Perl. It lets you define variables, load and store then from/to files and execute any fvwm command using this variables. It is especialy useful to interactively change the fvwm configuration.

FvwmWallpaper
FvwmWallpaper is a fvwm module written in Perl. It lets you change your X wallpaper from within Fvwm. FvwmWallpaper tries to find the best way to display your picture and resizes it if necessary. Resized pictures are cached. FvwmWallpaper can display a menu with thumbnails where you can select your wallpaper. Thumbnails are cached too.

FvwmXMMS
FvwmXMMS is a fvwm module written in Perl. It lets you control XMMS by sending commands to this module.

FvwmOsd
FvwmOsd is a fvwm module written in Perl. It lets you display an on-screen display (like the one on many TVs) on your X display. FvwmOsd is organized in different "channels" each of which you can configure and use independently of the others.

KMess program is a MSN messenger for KDE.
Main features:
- MSN Messenger protocol compatibility
- Font and font color support, including the ability to force contact messages to appear in a particular font and color.
- Full emoticon support, featuring a custom GPLed emoticon set and the ability to use different emoticon themes.
- File transfer support, both sending and receiving.
- Picture transfer support.
- Hotmail support, with new email notifications, the inbox count, and the ability to open Hotmail at the users inbox or at the composition page.
- The ability to disable and hide email information for accounts that dont use Hotmail.
- Support for multiple user profiles.
- Autologging, either at the setting page for from the commandline (with "kmess --autologin blah@hotmail.com" for example).
- A contact list that can organize contacts by group or by online/offline status.
- Groups show a count of the contacts online (i.e. "Friends (2/5)")
- The user can specify particular contact images and sounds to be displayed when a contact comes online or in a chat.
- The user can specify a name for a contact, overriding the contacts specified name.
- The user can choose on a contact-by-contact basis whether the user should be notified when a particular contact comes online or goes offline.
- KMess can show a contacts MSN profile, and open the MSN search pages.
- In addition to the usual user statuses of "Away" and "Busy" and so on, there is the status "Away with Autoreply" that will reply to contacts chat messages with a user-specified away message.
- The chat window has been redesigned with a new sidebar (which can be toggled with Ctrl+T) with an emphasis on contact images.
- The chat window notifies the user that a contact is typing by "glowing" the contacts image.
- Chats can be logged automatically and the chats ordered in subdirectories by day, week, or month, or not ordered at all.
- Chats can be configured to show timestamps when contacts send messages.
- A "compact" chat format can be used to remove extraneous line breaks and reduce the size of the chat.
- The chat window caption in the taskbar alternates between lower and upper case to inform the user of a received message when the window is not on top.
- Internationalization support, with translations in: English, Dutch, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, Chinese, French, Catalan, Arabic, Korean, Norsk, and Thai
- There is now a method, though not absolute, to tell if a contact is blocking you. If a chat is started with a contact that appears offline, you will be informed if the contact is offline or online and blocking you.

Enhancements:
- This release fixes some critical issues in 1.5-pre1.
- The most important bugfixes are better support for direct file transfer connections and links in the chat window.
- There are also some nice improvements, like file transfer previews and "now playing" information.
- The chat window has some new features.
- Writing links as slashdot.org or dot.kde.org works as well.
- Its possible to disable the shaking effect of a nudge.
