cw project is package for the Catweasel controller, look below what other packages do exist.
This package is especially for accessing the floppy drives connected to Catweasel. Currently the MK3 and MK4 controller cards are supported. cw consists of a kernel driver and a companion user space program (cwtool).
The kernel driver should work with Linux 2.4 and 2.6. Look at the homepage of the manufacturer Individual Computers for more details about the controller features.
There are 2 other Linux drivers for the Catweasel controller:
catweasel
Written by Dirk Jagdmann. A Linux driver for SID, Joysticks and Amiga keyboard.
cwfloppy
Written by Michael Krause. A Linux driver for accessing the floppies on a Catweasel controller. This driver exports block devices, so you are able to mount Amiga disks under Linux.
Currently it supports Amiga and MSDOS disks (and C1541 with a patch written by me). To support more formats i found it more useful to use another method to export data to user space, thats why i started my own driver.
Instead of a block device cw uses a char device and passes the raw Catweasel data to the calling program, so all format routines do not reside in the kernel driver anymore.
Currently you may load only one kernel module accessing the Catweasel controller.
Enhancements:

This is Comfortable FTP, a full screen ftp client.
Supported are FTP both with active and passive data connections,
IPv4 and IPv6, and SFTP (a file transfer protocol using SSH for
authorization and connection encryption).
SFTP support is somewhat preliminary: It requires SSH protocol
version 2 with a configured sftp subsystem on the server. It doesnt support resuming transfers.

documentation read the info file `cftp.info. For key bindings, see
the file `bindings.desc.
In cftp, press H for help.
The texinfo documentation is a mess; any help most welcome
(especially the outline of a good structure).

Pyzam project is a fullscreen archived comic book reader for CBZ and CBR files.
The original intent was to create a comic book reader for Mac OS X that did fullscreen and supported cbz and cbr files.
It supports two-page view and directories of images. It also works on systems other than Mac OS X, but only supports cbz files.
Enhancements:
- Added png support.

Sajax is a simple toolkit to expose functions in your PHP scripts as JavaScript stubs. This can be called by the browser to do work on the server without refreshing the page.
It utilizes XMLHttpRequest to make the magic happen. This kind of technology, generally known as remote scripting or "Ajax," is becoming popular and is used extensively by Google (GMail, Google Suggests, Google Maps) and others to provide another level of interactivity within Web pages.
Enhancements:
- PHP: Many, many improvements to the serialization support and numerous bug fixes. ASP: Temporarily removed due to the security problems.

GIMP# is an API wrapper around GIMP, written in C#. However, its not just a wrapper. GIMP# project also adds a thin layer which adds C# specific features, like iterating through a collection. An example of this is an iteration through the guides of an image. In C# this looks like:

GIMP# also offers a base plug-in class which does the difficult stuff for you. Implementing a new plug-in is just a matter of overriding a few virtual methods. See the samples directory for examples of how to do this.

Gimp# fills the niche between scripting languages (easy to write, slow) and C (harder to write, fast). If you need a quick and dirty plug-in where speed doesnt matter that much, write it in any of the scripting languages that come with GIMP (Scheme, Perl, etc.). Scripting languages are very well fitted for calling existing functionality, shortening manual tasks.

You probably dont want pixel manipulation in Scheme. In C, on the other hand, it takes a lot more time to create a plug-in for several reasons: building the GUI is time consuming. Secondly, pixel handling is not completely trivial. You have to know how to traverse through the tiles of an image, etc. Typically the actual algorithm is only a very small (5 - 20 %) part of the total code. Gimp# is not as fast as C, but much faster than a scripting language. Building a decent GUI is much easier than in C.

Kelbt project can generate backtracking LALR parsers. Standard LALR parser generators emit an error upon encountering a conflict in the parse tables. Kelbt forges onward, generating parsers which handle conflicts by backtracking at runtime. Kelbt is able to generate a parser for any context-free grammar and therefore implements a generalized parsing method.
Kelbt is different from other backtracking LR systems in two ways. First, it elevates backtracking to the level of semantic actions by introducing a class of actions called undo actions. Undo actions are invoked as the backtracker undoes parsing and allow the user to revert any side effects of forward semantic actions. This makes it possible to backtrack over language constructs which must modify global state in preparation for handling context dependencies.
Second, Kelbt enables a user-controlled parsing strategy which approximates that of generalized recursive-descent parsing. This makes it easy for the user to resolve language ambiguities by ordering the grammar productions of a nonterminal according to their precedence. It is approximate in the sense that for most grammars the equivalent of an ordered choice parsing strategy is achieved. In cases where productions are parsed out of the order given, there is a simple grammar transformation which remedies the problem. See the CASCON paper for more details.
As a proof of concept, Kelbt has been used to write a partial C++ parser (included) which is composed of strictly a scanner, a name lookup stage and a grammar with standard semantic actions and semantic undo actions.
Enhancements:
- The -l option was added for turning off line directives in generated code.
- The class keyword was added.
- This indicates that a nonterminal or the token type is a C++ class, and should have its constructors and destructors called.
- The shortest statement was added.
- This allows one to force a shortest match of a list of items.
- The semantics of commit was changed.
- It now forces a full commit rather than a scoped commit.
- Many other improvements were made.

PunJab is a HTTP jabber client interface. It is a SOAP, XMLRPC, JEP-0025 or JEP-0124 server that allows persistent client connections to a jabber server.
PunJab can be used for many things, but its main purpose is to allow for stateless applications (ie web) a stateful connection to jabber.
Enhancements:
- Speed improvements were made in handling requests. Speed improvements were made in session creation and authentication.
- A memory leak in a bad observer for messages was fixed.
- A SASL bug which was triggered if there was no "realm" was fixed.
- A connection bug in HTTP polling and XMLRPC was fixed.
- A few changes were made to make it more compliant with XEP - 0124.

Qucs project is going to be an integrated circuit simulator which means you will be able to setup a circuit with a graphical user interface (GUI) and simulate the large-signal, small-signal and noise behaviour of the circuit. After that simulation has finished you can present the simulation results on a presentation page or window.
- Qucs, briefly for Qt Universal Circuit Simulator, is a circuit simulator with graphical user interface. The software aims to support all kinds of circuit simulation types, e.g. DC, AC, S-parameter, harmonic balance analysis, noise analysis, etc.
- Qucsator, the simulation backend, is a command line circuit simulator. It takes a network list in a certain format as input and outputs a Qucs dataset. It has been programmed for usage in the Qucs project but may also be used by other applications.
For people who are familiar with such simulators they should remember ADS from Agilent Technologies, Microwave Office from AWR and all the other simulators.
Enhancements:
- This release comes with a translation into Ukrainian, a selectable preprocessor in the SPICE component, and two new components (exponential voltage and current source).
- Libraries can now contain analogue as well as digital subcircuits.
- Analogue modelling is substantially strengthened by symbolically defined devices.
- The list of available functions in the equation solver has been extended to support more functions, logical and rational operators, and the ternary ?: construct.
- Pure digital simulations can be also performed by Verilog-HDL as an alternative to VHDL.
