W2g is a framework for building Web-based applications such as online databases, intranet portals, or CRM systems. more>>
W2g is a framework for building Web-based applications such as online databases, intranet portals, or CRM systems.

W2g applications are developed within the web browser, no coding is needed. However, if you are a programmer, you can extend the multi-faced feature set of W2g even more. Skel files can be filled with custom code that replaces or extends W2g standard functions.

W2g is written in Perl and is working completely as Apache module. Code gets compiled only once, then executed from Apaches internal cache - including custom Perl code inserted in one of W2gs auto-generated, module-specific skel files.

Wg uses MySQL as database backend. W2g is optimized for speed. Various internal caching features prevent fetching redundant information from the database.

W2g is open-source. It is licensed under the GNU GPL.

QXi 0.0.1

QXi 0.0.1

QXi is a C++ library to add support for XInput devices (like tablets or joysticks) to Qt-based X11 applications. more>>
QXi (Qt XInput Extension) is a C++ library to add support for XInput devices (like tablets or joysticks) to Qt-based X11 applications. Its licensed under Troll Techs QPL, just like the free edition of Qt.

As of now, QXi supports devices with up to six valuator axes in absolute mode, up to 32 buttons, and a virtually unlimited number of keys. Yes, that means that Wacom tablets more or less work already. Use of these devices capabilities from within Qt is just slightly more difficult than handling the mouse.

Support for relative mode, devices with ridiculous numbers of axes, motion history, and even grabbing is still forthcoming. So is documentation, unfortunately, but then again, if youre not willing to study some source to use this library, then its not yet for you. That should however change soon.

gmms is a simple MMS-stream downloader based on mmsclient that works on both Windows and Linux.

MMS-streams are multimedia streams broadcasted on the Internet, following the MMS-protocol.

The simple explanation is that with gmms, you can save every kind of stream having mms:// at the start of the download URL to your hard-disk.

The stream can be and audio or video stream, as long as its URL starts with mms://.

GARP provides an ARP monitoring tool for the Gnome desktop.
GARP (Gnome ARP) is an ARP monitoring program written on Gnome with the GTK toolkit and Ruby. It takes ARP tables and some system variables via SNMP and ARP protocols and determines whether any machines have changed their IP address.
It is useful for detecting new machines on the network and detecting which machine have changed addresses. It is intended especially for network admins.
Main features:
- Detecting which machine had changed its IP address.
- Archiving all machines on a network device.
- Detecting unactive machines.
- Multiple device support (two or more device can be analysed at once)
- Giving alias to the device
- System Variables Like:
- System Name
- System Description
- System Uptime
- CPU Usage
- Free Memory

Xmon 0.0.1

Xmon 0.0.1

Xmon is a graphical system performance monitor for linux, written from scratch using C/Xlib. more>>
Xmon project is a graphical system performance monitor for linux, written from scratch using C/Xlib by myself.

Xmon displays the current system load, used memory and cpu time based on the output of the linux process filesystem which must be mounted before.

Current release 0.0.1 [.tgz, 12kb] doesnt support command line options, all features are hardcoded. Xmon is self explaining, therefore no manpage is available. Further development has been terminated.

Xmon is just the result of a one day training learning xlib (first steps). It means that the algorithm is quite unfinished, untested, buggy and beta.

Memory overflow workaround is implemented. The beta 0.0.1b release is not portable to other Unix derivates (Solaris, AIX...) but it runs on all platforms (Sun, RS6k) which support and run linux.

I published the source code in the hope that someone would spend some time to expand the software because I currently dont have the time.

fl0p 0.0.1

fl0p 0.0.1

fl0p is a passive L7 flow fingerprinter that examines TCP/UDP/ICMP packet sequences. more>>
fl0p is a passive L7 flow fingerprinter that examines TCP/UDP/ICMP packet sequences.

It can also can peek into cryptographic tunnels, can tell human beings and robots apart, and performs a couple of other infosec-related tricks.

This approach differs from the techniques used by most other passive sniffers and mappers, and is advantageous in several interesting ways:

- General flow behavior remains largely unchanged regardless of whether cryptographic tunnels or other obfuscation techniques are used. As such, backdoors or firewall evasion techniques that for example use SSL on port 443, can be told apart from browser traffic, and further investigated.

- General insight into legitimate encrypted sessions can be gained; for example, it is possible to remotely tell successful and failed SSH authentication attempts apart, and react accordingly.

- Human actions can be told apart from automated efforts: it is possible to ignore SMTP client programs, but single out humans manually interacting with the server on port 25; similarly, automated SSH login attempts can be told apart from human actions.

HaRe 0.0.1

HaRe 0.0.1

HaRe is a Hebrew handwriting recognition engine. more>>
HaRe is a Hebrew handwriting recognition engine. HaRe project uses an optical algorithm, and is therefore independent of motion.

syntax:

./hare filename.pgm - will attempt to read the hebrew letters from filename.pgm and output them to a UTF-8 textfile called output

./hare - does the same, acts the same as above, but the image file is defaultd to "bug.pgm"

notes:
hare reads .pgm files, but can only handle B/W images, grayscale is ignored (for now)

notes:
only letters supported right now are all letters between bet and shin, not including sofiot

runtest.pl:

syntax:

./runtest.pl - runs hare on all files in the tests directory, copies outputs to image_file_name_without_extension.out, and compares it with the expected output (in a .go file), if comparison fails, outputs a warning to STDOUT.

notes:
you need Perl to run this.
In order to use the test suit it is recommended to copy your binary to the debug directory, where the test suite resides, or simply compile with kdevelop under debug mode

flimp is a generic graphical frontend to the many excellent command line image manipulation tools available. This project allows to create pipelines of commands that read from standard input and write to standard output.
One can view and compare the result of each stage of the pipeline. flimp leaves the input image file untouched. One rather saves the pipeline in a text file.
Main features:
- non-destructive image manipulation
- easy to extend and customize
- flimp is small (less than 2000 LOC)
- import of raw images via dcraw
- support of 16bit images

TclTP 0.0.1

TclTP 0.0.1

TclTP is a preprocessor based on the TCL scripting language. more>>
TclTP (pronounced Tickle-Type) is a preprocessor based on the TCL scripting language. It allows embedding TCL command and and variable expansions in normal text. The result of expansion is inserted in the output.

Quoting and escaping work similar as in TCL, using braces and backslashes. A second stage of processing involves hooks defined by the document. This allows arbitrary transformations of processed text before it is written to the output.

TclTP is primarily intended for generating complex static documents. It is not a mark-up language per se.

But you can define your own mark-up and use it in your documents, possibly allowing the production of output in different formats from the same source file.
