AFU Form Submit 40531-0940
This script gives you form processing power! Request any information more>> Many times you may want to collect a lot of information from a user that isnt covered in Auto FollowUp, like phone number, address, city, credit card information, etc. There are five customised fields in AFU, but perhaps some of this information doesnt belong in a customized field. Thats when this script comes in. Create any form you want, with as many fields as you would like. The contents will be emailed to you and the information you want to keep in your autoresponder will be inserted automatically. How does it work? Its simple, really. Just include some hidden fields in your form: the name of the list to add to, and the name of the fields to insert into AFU. The script does the rest.<<less

FAQ Search 61121-2238
Put a Frequently Asked Questions script on your site to help you manage your user help assistance. This help desk will allow your users to quickly find answers to their questions. You can administrate more>>
FAQ Search allows you to place a searchable and easy-to-update Frequently Asked Questions database on your site in minutes. One script file, and a single database text file can be uploaded in a few minutes giving your users access to the most recent answers. One of the most important pages on a site is a Frequently Asked Questions page. If done well, it serves two important purposes: Users can find the answers to all of their questions in a few minutes and make their decision to purchase more quickly. You save time from answering the same questions over and over again by email. People are also less likely to become cold contacts. The bonus is that it saves you time as well. Adding new questions is as easy as adding a new line to the text file. The problem we all face with these kinds of pages is keeping them up-to-date. Its a chore to determine what question is worthy of adding to the page, and then you have to build a static page, perhaps adding more HTML to an existing page to answer these questions. Many webmasters dont do anything at all. Take a look at FAQ-Search. Youll appreciate the ease with which you can interact with your Frequently Asked Questions. Youll love the time it saves you in answering email. ________________ D e t a i l s The idea is to continue to develop this so that it fully manages your support. Heres what it does now: Allows searching of database. Allows basic interaction with the database: users can ask new questions that are not in the database. Questions and answers are sorted by categories. Heres what I plan to add: Script answers support email automatically. Based on keywords in the email, users are replied-to with a selection of possible answers. New questions people ask online will be added to the database as pending. You will be able to answer the question online with a web form. You can either approve the question for the FAQs or delete it.

AutoFollowup 80328-1129
Follow up with customers, sending them unlimited autoresponders with a personal touch. Administrate all autoresponders from any web browser, adding unlimited letters and unlimited lists. more>>
AutoFollowUp is a Perl mailing list program meant to run on your web server. It was created expressly for those users who want to have an autoresponder hosted on their own site, but have severe limitations imposed by the webserver administrator. A few examples of these limitations could be a limit on the number of emails sent per hour, no creation of cron jobs (automated script executions), no Server Side Includes (SSI) or no access to SQL databases. AutoFollowUp (AFU) automates the process of following up with your customers. You can create an unlimited number of lists, each list containing an unlimited number of consecutive emails. For example, each list could be set up to contain sequenced sales letters for different products you have available on your site. After subscribing, a user could receive a welcome email, and then potentially get another email from you every day, every week, every month, or at any interval you specify. PersonalizationAFU lets you place special fields in your emails to personalize them. First name, full name, ip address, date subscribed, and email address are a few of the fields available. Opt-In/Opt OutYou can enable a double opt-in/opt-out system using AutoFollowUp to be certain that those who are subscribed actually want to be subscribed. The ban list also ensures customers arent accidentally resubscribed or emailed. Subscribe and unsubscribe requests are handled automatically as well-- customers can click an unsubscribe link in the sales letter, or reply with the word unsubscribe in the subject line. DatabaseIf you cant use MySQL databases on your webserver, you will still be able to run AFU, since it utilizes multiple flat text-file based databases: a different one for each list, and a separate file for each outgoing email. Control PanelThe control panel in AFU gives you complete control over each list:1. Automatically create the HTML for forms, 2. Edit the users in your list, 3. Create new lists and new letters4.

Big Faceless Java PDF Library 2.11.6
A Java class library for creating PDF documents more>>
The Big Faceless Java PDF Library is a Java class library for creating PDF documents. The Extended Edition of Big Faceless Java PDF Library offers the ability to create and edit AcroForms, PDFs answer to the HTML form.
Like HTML forms, PDF forms can contain text boxes, radio buttons, and can call JavaScript functions. The Extended Edition also includes a PDF reader for importing and editing, along with FDF support and verification for Digital Signatures.
Both variations offer full Unicode support, encryption, embedded TrueType and Type1 fonts, barcodes, hyperlinks, spot and calibrated color. Advanced text layout engine enables complex HTML styles. It is small, fast, easy to use, and 100% pure Java.
BFO's PDF Library provides unparalleled implementation flexibility and reliability for the developer. It's scalable, thread-safe and extremely fast, having been honed over the years, and runs on any Java platform from the humble PC up to Mainframes.
The API has been designed so you don't need to know the PDF specification in order to create PDF's. We hide as much of the gory details as possible but still give you almost complete control over the PDF itself. Where possible standard Java classes are reused - for example the pages are stored in a java.util.List, which can be manipulated any way you like (so moving pages from one document to another is a breeze). This means an API which is smaller and easier to remember.
Major Features:
- Transparent Unicode support - create documents in Arabic, Russian or Japanese as easily as English.
- TrueType and Type1 fonts, with subsetting for smaller files. Great for OCR
- PDF Encryption, for password-protected documents (40 and 128 bit RC4 or AES)
- Embed JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF or java.awt.Image images, or add Barcodes directly to the PDF.
- Use Spot colors, calibrated ICC profiles and other advanced colorspace
- Add HTML-style Hyperlinks to text or images
- Process 1000+ words a second with kerning, ligatures, justification and "curly quotes" for legibility.
- Simplify complex document creation by defining and applying "Styles"
- Full support for PDF features like bookmarks, compression and document meta-information
- Non-linear creation of documents - pages can be created and edited in any order
- PDF Library Extended Edition
- The extended edition of the Java PDF Library offers additional features:
- Load and edit existing PDF documents, as templates or merge with others
- Create and edit interactive Forms, or "AcroForm"
- Digitally sign documents, or verify existing digital signatures
- Java PDF Viewer

- Swing component for displaying PDF documents
- Convert PDF to TIFF (or any other bitmap format)
- Extract and index text and images from PDF documents, including integration with Apache Lucene
- Print PDF documents, including support for annotations and other PDF features not supported by Java 1.5 printing.
- Pre-flight new or existing PDFs against PDF/X-1a, PDF/X-3 or PDF/A-1b.
Enhancements:
- All BFO warning (and debug, if enabled) messages are now logged using log4j if available, or java.util.logging.* if not.
