RapidWatcher is an infrastructure to implement monitoring solutions quickly.
Youve implemented the management solution youve been working on for quite some time.
You are now able to monitor your IT infrastructure using various tools from different vendors. Youre confident that the management solution can detect problems and inform operators before users/customers are aware of the problem, but what if there is a problem with the the monitoring solution itself?
Today management solutions are complex, and include many moving parts. Some of the tools do provide some degree of self-monitoring but they dont necessarily monitor all parts of the solution.
If the monitoring solution is not working properly, no one may notice until a problem goes undetected by the monitoring solution. So a tool to monitor the management solution is needed.
