QuickRip 0.9 aplha description
QuickRip is a basic DVD ripper for GNU/Linux (and other UNIX variants, though none have been tested) written in Python and PyQt.
Whilst it lacks options to fine-tune how you want to rip your DVD, it makes ripping quick and easy, and so is ideal for those who arent bothered about framerates, clipping, and other (in my experience) unecessary options.

Enhancements:
- The base system uses threads when running external programs
- Thse base system should be far more reliable, as well as easier to debug and easier to extend
- The CLI has been similarly rewritten o There is now a logging system to help the user and developers
